Do you really need to see photos of my work?

Yep, we sure do.

Can I sell something at the show that you didn’t see in my photos?

Well, we don’t expect a photo of every single product you sell, but you may only vend with the specific product lines and category that you applied with. The main reason for this is that we don’t want too many vendors with the same merchandise. This helps you and your customers.

Can I apply to share a booth with a friend?

Sure. As a matter of fact we encourage it, but both parties must be listed on the application and must be approved. Vendors may purchase more than one booth each.

I’ve been a vendor before. Do I still need to fill out the application?

Yep! We love all our past vendors but each show is a new show and creating a successful balance of vendors can’t be accomplished without all new applications every time. 

I see that there are two applications. One for vendor and one for exhibitor. What is the difference between the two?

Simple, a vendor can sell their product. An exhibitor can only promote their product.

Is there a quick checklist for what I need to do to apply as a vendor?

Fill out the application, and send in your 3 photos along with your payment to secure your place. Be patient.

What are the fees and costs involved in the show?

2’deep x 8’wide Table Space: A flat rate for both days is $125. 

2’deep x 6’wide Table Space:: A flat rate for both days is $115 

8′ x 6′ Booth: A flat rate of $150 for both days. 

8′ x 8′ Booth: A flat rate of $175 for both days.

10′ x 6′ Booth: A flat rate of $225 for both days.

10′ x 10′ Booth: A flat rate of $250 for both days.

2’deep x 6’wide Exhibitor Table Space: A flat rate for both days is $60. 

Tables are available for rent. If you will need a table/s, order them now. However, they must be reserved no later than 2 weeks before the show. Please order them if you need them upon your application!!!

I see that you’re asking for my Seattle City Business License. What if I don’t have one?

A Seattle City Business License is required for all businesses operating in the City of Seattle. If you do not already have one and your business is operational in Seattle, you should apply for one right away.

If you do not have a Seattle Business License, a $15.00 fee will be added onto your space fee so we can add you to our Trade Fair License. This is a fee that is required within the confines of King County. Sorry about that. For additional tax compliance information, click here.

What is your refund policy?

Once you are accepted to the show, fees are nonrefundable. However, they are transferable to the next Mystic Con event. Dates and locations will be announced soon. You must notify us within thirty days of your application date for us to authorize the transfer at mysticcon1@gmail.com

What does my Booth fee pay for? 

  • A venue right smack dab in the heart of Fremont.

  • Professional flyer/poster design.

  • 100 8.5″ x 14″ posters posted all over Fremont and Seattle.

  • 10 hours of work putting up posters.

  • 2000 flyers to put out. 

  • A PDF copy of the poster that you can download and send to all of your contacts

  • People to snag passer-by’s during the show’s open hours, with small flyers.

  • 3 bright Mystic Con signboards & balloons placed outside and on the corners to attract visitors.

  • Signage advertising the event

  • Viral presence on Facebook, including social media, and the combined reach of all the vendors!

  • Posts on the Facebook event with your product/service.

  • Your business promoted, and name linked back to your Facebook business page (if available).

  • You will get your link posted in “ARTISANS” on our website that links to your own page. Your page will link back to your Facebook business page and etsy shop/website, and houses the selection of photos you send with your application, as well as the business description (so please send a good one). 

  • Press releases sent to all local papers.

  • Facebook ads.

I’m an out-of-state vendor. Do I still have to collect and pay sales tax?

Yes. All vendors are responsible for paying their own sales tax for business conducted within Washington, regardless of whether they are Washington residents. You may choose to add on sales tax at the time of purchase, or design your pricing system to already include sales tax. Either way, you are responsible for paying the appropriate taxes on revenue collected at the show.

When I applied, I said I didn’t need a table/booth, but now I do. Is this possible?

Up until a month before the show, you may email us with your requests regarding a table/booth or electricity, a change in space requirements, etc., and we will do our best to accommodate.  However, once we’ve hit the four-week mark, service orders have been finalized and the booth map has been set, so we will be unable to grant any changes to your booth setup at that point.

How can I promote my self for this event? 

With the way viral marketing is today, we all need to do our part to ensure the success of the show. Every time a vendor adds invites, it multiplies our reach. Every post that gets posted and is seen or shared makes a HUGE difference in overall turnout. We all benefit from each other’s networks. Together, we make it happen!

All vendors are required to send invites to the event on Facebook and use full social media reach. Ability (and follow through) in online and in-person promotion is a factor for acceptance into the show. Posting on your Facebook timeline and in relevant Facebook groups is also recommended. This is how to promote yourself and the show!

Important note: This is a family friendly event so Mystic Con has the authority to remove anyone from the event for reasons of taste, endangering self or others, violation of rules, or any reason seen fit. There will be no appeal. Behave, or we will tell your mother.
