Cancellation!

Mystic Con is CANCELLED.

Our application deadline has arrived and we have found ourselves short of the number of vendors needed to host the show. We feel it isn’t fair for either of us to have an event and bring people to a show that is small.

When we were following up with vendors on our lists, many indicated they had either signed up for other events, or that they were not interested. We just have not seen the response we need to move forward. Regretfully, we need to cancel Mystic Con’s Imaginarium of Wonder.

Best to you,

Don Joseph and Diane

One of the most unique events is happening in Fremont this Sept. 16th-17th,  and you’re invited. Mystic Cons’ 2017 Imaginarium of Wonder is bringing you something different. Here is where you will enjoy a spirited and a little bit spooky, fun event in the heart of funky Fremont at the Palladium!

You will meet unique artisans and crafters who create unusual items of imagination and wonder. Paranormal experts and ghost hunters will share with you their expertise and more.

The overall appeal of Mystic Con… Is safely being in a place where you could truly be yourself and meet people of like mind and who share what you love. Even if you don’t agree with some of what they believe, keep an open mind and be ready to not only learn, but to make new friends.

So if you’ve never been, or a friend is urging you to come along, do it. Go in with an open mind and a positive attitude and you may not only learn a thing or two but you may leave there with a new friend or two.

Changing With the Times

There was a time, when every convention focused on its one genre. Gaming conventions were for gamers, literature shows were for readers, and comic book shows were retail events. The established conventions were successful, and the organizers stuck to their formulas. But, as times have changed, so have the Conventions. Today, there are conventions that provide a mix of many genres and offer new and exciting events for people to attend.

A few months ago Peddlers Village Faire realized that it had to grow and keep up with the times. It wanted to broaden its horizons to become more than just an arts and crafts event. It decided to become more, it had to offer more. Many thoughts and ideas were created and discarded, all but one…Mystic Con.

Mystic Con is working hard behind-the-scenes to bring you an amazing list of talented artists, crafters, authors, ghost hunters, creators, and visionaries who each contribute to the world of Mystic Cons Imaginarium of Wonder in their own unique way. Stay tuned for the next few weeks as we start to announce Mystic Con’s 2017 lineup!

A celebration of the unusual, striving to showcase arts, crafts, and products that are a bit different from what you’d find at your local country arts and crafts fair. Anything weird, freaky, bizarre, quirky, off the board, or just plain different and anything else you might think of, is welcome.

Please share this post and let everyone know, It’s coming!
